2nd vintage bus meeting in Regensburg – rolling witnesses on September 28, 2025

Following the resounding success of last year's premiere, the IG Historische Straßenbahn Regensburg eV (Regensburg Historical Tram Association), the Regensburg Oldtimer Club, and the Federal Association of Postbus Drivers 1980 eV (Regensburg Postbus Drivers Association) are once again inviting visitors to the vintage bus gathering in the cathedral city on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Numerous historic buses from all over southern Germany and beyond are expected at the event site. The vehicles range from the Mercedes L 4500 with an Auwärter body from 1954 – a truly unique post-war model – to the typical city buses and coaches of the 1980s and 1990s, which many visitors still remember from their own memories.

Special rarities include the legendary Setra S 6 (1956), which offered only 25 seats and made history as one of the first compact post-war buses, as well as a rare Büssing Präfekt (1969). Two spectacular convertible buses – a Berlin MAN SD 200 double-decker and a Neoplan N 212 H – will also be on display. The range will be complemented by well-known classics such as the Mercedes-Benz O 303, the O 405, and various Setra coaches from the 1980s and 1990s.

A highlight of the meeting are the free tours through Regensburg, where visitors can experience the vintage buses up close. Three different tours are on the program:
