On April 26, 2026, TSNV will operate a shuttle service with museum vehicles between Tivoli, Hauptbahnhof and Europaplatz.
Karlsruhe – On Sunday, April 26, 2026, those interested can travel from the main train station to the "Festival of the Senses" in a charming atmosphere aboard historic trams. In cooperation with the Karlsruhe transport authority, the Treffpunkt Schienennahverkehr Karlsruhe eV (TSNV) association is operating a special line from Tivoli Park, across the main train station forecourt, through Karlstraße to Europaplatz and back. From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the wide-capacity tramcar 139 – a representative of the legendary "wooden class" from 1958 – and the Albtalbahn museum tramcar 104, built in 1959 and painted yellow with a green stripe, will run every 20 minutes. The first boarding opportunity is at 1:09 p.m. at Europaplatz and at 1:08 p.m. at Tivoli Park. All journeys can be found on the Karlsruhe Transport Association's (KVV) electronic timetable at www.kvv.de.

For operational reasons, the Ebertstraße stop (towards the main train station), as well as the Karlstor and Poststraße stops, will not be served. At Europaplatz, passengers can only board and alight at the Karlstraße stop. Due to the varying platform heights, the museum trams will stop at Kolpingplatz in the northern section of the stop, at Ebertstraße in the eastern section, and at Mathystraße in the southern section. These stops have the lower platform edges suitable for the historic trams.
Regular KVV fares apply on the historic special line. Tickets are not available on board. Bicycles cannot be transported due to space limitations. The museum vehicles are not wheelchair accessible. Further information is available at www.tsnv.de.
