The Rostock Public Transport Friends are a dedicated group of enthusiasts dedicated to researching and preserving the history of public transport in Rostock. Their activities range from archival work and documentation to model building and the restoration of historic vehicles. They also organize special tours with historic trams and buses for special occasions. Anyone interested is cordially invited to join the regular meetings at Depot12 in Marienehe.

Depot12 – A center for historic vehicles

Depot12 in Marienehe serves as the headquarters of the Rostock Local Transport Association and houses an impressive collection of historic trams and buses. Here, the vehicles are lovingly restored and prepared for special tours. The depot is not only a workshop, but also a place for exchange and continuing education for anyone interested in the history of Rostock's local transport.
