A special highlight of the Solingen Trolleybus Museum is the extensive model layout, which faithfully recreates the Solingen trolleybus system on a scale of 1:87. The layout consists of several transportable modules with a maximum size of 100 cm x 60 cm and shows, among other things, the association's area with a stop on the municipal utility site, including the trolley shed and association containers. This lovingly designed model world allows visitors to explore the history and operation of the Solingen trolleybus system in miniature format, offering fascinating insights into the technology and everyday life of trolleybus operations.
