The Mainschleifenbahn is a historic branch line in Lower Franconia, running between Seligenstadt near Würzburg and Volkach-Astheim. The 10-kilometer-long Mainschleifenbahn line runs from Seligenstadt to Volkach-Astheim through the Franconian Main Valley, passing romantic vineyards, blooming fields, and charming villages. Along the way, passengers can experience the railbus and other historic vehicles while enjoying unique views of the Main River and the Vogelsburg Castle at stops such as Prosselsheim, Eisenheim, and Escherndorf.
